What success did we aim to create?

Reval Café partnered with us to create a scalable retail concept for the launch of Reval Gelato. The objective was to introduce the brand to the Estonian market with a visually distinctive and commercially flexible identity—one that could be implemented across multiple locations while capturing the playful, indulgent nature of the product.

How did we create the success?

We delivered a full retail design solution that balanced brand storytelling, functionality, and commercial scalability.

Our key steps included:

  • Flagship First: Designed the first location in Viru Keskus, Estonia’s busiest shopping centre, as a benchmark for future rollouts.
  • Modular Flexibility: Created three adaptable formats with shared brand DNA, allowing Reval to activate locations of various sizes and layouts.
  • Visual Experience: Introduced fun, sensory-driven elements such as waffle cone ceiling textures and melting counters, supported by a light, fresh colour palette.
  • Retail Marketing Strategy: Embedded playful brand cues that resonated with both children and adults, elevating footfall and dwell time through emotional engagement.

What were the results?

The first Reval Gelato store launched successfully in summer 2016 to strong public response. The concept has been recognised as a standout addition to Estonia’s food retail scene, with expansion plans already underway. The scalable design system positions Reval Café for sustainable growth across new retail formats.
