What success did we aim to create?
Germanos tasked us with creating a next-generation flagship store in Glyfada, Athens that would deliver a fully immersive technology retail experience. The goal was to reimagine how customers engage with tech through hands-on interaction, seamless service, and inviting, homely environments—all while reflecting Germanos’ innovative brand identity across a multi-floor format.
How did we create the success?
As a leading retail design agency, we developed a store design that merged digital innovation with human-centred brand experience.
Key strategic decisions included:
- Multi-Zone Experience: We organised the three floors into thematic product areas including Gaming, Smart Home, Fitness, Music, TV, and Gadgets.
- Home-Like Settings: Smart Home products were showcased in residential-style zones to improve emotional connection and understanding.
- Indoor-Outdoor Integration: Courtyard areas and gardens created continuity between interior and exterior spaces.
- Striking Visual Identity: A perforated metal façade referenced digital code, transforming from day to night, while bold graphics and oversized signage established strong focal points.
- Lighting and Materials: Diagonal LED lighting guided movement, while a balanced palette of fresh tones and wood finishes softened the tech-heavy environment.
What were the results?
The flagship store redefined Germanos’ in-store brand experience, attracting a new wave of tech-savvy consumers.
It successfully delivered:
- Increased footfall and dwell time through experiential retail design
- Elevated customer engagement and product interaction
- A highly visible, future-forward brand statement in a key retail district
