Rebranding a Growing Garden Company
Bosworth’s Garden Company - Northamptonshire, UK
What success did we aim to create?
Bosworth’s partnered with us to evolve its identity from a single-location garden centre into a scalable, future-facing garden company. The goal was to deliver a retail brand transformation that would reflect its expanding offer—spanning horticulture, dining and home—while preserving its trusted legacy and increasing appeal across multiple sites.
How did we create the success?
As a retail design agency, we focused on strategic brand evolution rather than reinvention. Our approach included:
- Name Change: We rebranded Bosworth’s from a “Garden Centre” to a “Garden Company” to signal growth and future ambition.
- Pillar-Based Identity: We structured the brand around three pillars—grow, eat, home—aligning with its modern offer.
- Visual Language: A new brand palette was inspired by the kitchen garden, using rich tones like raspberry red and runner bean green. Hand-drawn leaf patterns referenced Bosworth’s horticultural heritage.
- Brand Assets: We created a suite of adaptable brand stamps (e.g. Grown by Bosworth’s, Established in 1959) to add personality, authority and storytelling flexibility.
- Scalable Design: The identity system was designed for consistent use across signage, menus, website, packaging, uniforms and future site applications.
What were the results?
Launched in May 2023, the new identity strengthened Bosworth’s position as a modern, independent retail brand with room to grow. It has since been rolled out across key brand touchpoints, enhancing recognition and delivering a unified customer experience. The rebrand supports Bosworth’s long-term ambition to expand into new locations while staying rooted in its heritage.
”Grounded. Horticulture. Heritage. Welcoming. Future.
