A Café Concept for All Hours
Reval Café - Estonia
What success did we aim to create?
Reval Café appointed us to develop a new flagship café concept for its location at Rocca al Mare, Estonia’s largest shopping centre. The goal was to create a versatile, brand-forward dining destination that performs seamlessly from morning through evening, while elevating the brand experience and integrating the café with an adjacent technology retailer through shared access.
How did we create the success?
As a retail design agency with deep experience in hospitality formats, we developed a concept that blends functionality with visual appeal across multiple use cases.
Key strategic features included:
- Flexible Layout: The space was zoned for short, medium, and long dwell times, with varied seating options including banquettes, booth seating with power access, and a central communal table.
- Extended Brand Palette: We used Reval’s pink and blue identity, enhanced with muted pastels, natural textures, and soft lighting to balance daytime vibrancy with evening comfort.
- Connected Retail Integration: Three distinct access points, including a direct entry from the adjacent tech store, supported increased footfall and cross-traffic.
- Visual Storytelling: A gallery wall of curated Reval photography reinforced social media engagement and brand connectivity.
- Updated Digital Communication: Menu screens were introduced for dynamic content management, enabling fast updates for time-of-day or seasonal changes.
What were the results?
The new Reval Café at Rocca al Mare has been positively received by customers and staff alike. It successfully combines aesthetics and commercial strategy, creating a warm, functional environment that supports increased footfall, extended dwell times, and brand loyalty. The concept now serves as a model for future cafés and upgrades across the Reval portfolio.
