What success did we aim to create?

One Hungary (4iG) challenged us to deliver a retail brand transformation across Hungary that would unify their telecom presence under a bold, future-focused identity. Our mission was to reposition the brand experience for all store formats—small, medium, and large—while supporting increased footfall, boosting customer engagement, and aligning with a scalable retail marketing strategy.

How did we create the success?

As a leading retail design agency, developed a comprehensive retail strategy rooted in modularity, clarity, and emotional connection. Key strategic decisions included:

  • Scalable Store Framework: Designed store formats (40–210 sqm) with a consistent brand experience across sizes.
  • Six-Zone Layout Model: Each store was planned using a six-component zoning strategy that balanced service, communication, and product areas.
  • Customer-Centric Journey: Routing was optimised to guide guests from immediate service through to in-depth support without barriers.
  • Distinct Visual Identity: Facade and signage systems used high-impact teal bands, cropped logos, and flexible sign formats to ensure brand visibility across diverse architectural environments.
  • Material & Lighting Strategy: Honest, tactile finishes and layered lighting (track, circular, and spiral) enhanced the ambiance and guided customer flow.
  • Retail Fixtures: Flexible canvases, modular service furniture, and clear brand messaging elevated the store’s role as a sales and service tool.

This unified retail marketing strategy was applied to over 20 locations across Hungary, including Budapest, Debrecen, Szeged, Gyor, and Pecs.

What were the results?

  • Consistent brand experience delivered across 22 stores, increasing both recognition and trust.
  • Customer engagement surged, thanks to intuitive layouts and informative touchpoints.
  • Significant uplift in footfall noted in flagship locations such as Westend and Gyor Arkad.
