What success did we aim to create?

Mega Image partnered with us to launch a new nationwide loyalty programme that would enhance customer experience, drive retention, and differentiate their brand in Romania’s competitive grocery market. The goal was to create a complete retail brand transformation through a loyalty platform that felt both personal and integral to the Mega Image experience.

How did we create the success?

As a design agency with expertise in brand creation, we developed a distinctive sub-brand identity for the new loyalty scheme, ensuring strategic alignment with Mega Image’s core brand while creating a recognisable experience of its own.

Key elements included:

  • Naming Strategy: The name Connect reflects the dual role of the card: connecting digital personalisation with physical store engagement.
  • Visual Identity: A vibrant green was chosen to contrast with Mega Image’s established red and grey palette, providing strong differentiation instore and online.
  • End-to-End Design: We delivered the full loyalty brand system—name, logo, card design, in-store communications, and digital application graphics—ensuring consistency and scalability across all touchpoints.

What were the results?

The Connect card launched across 650+ stores and online in late 2018. Within the first two months, over 300,000 customers had enrolled, making it the first fully personalised loyalty programme of its kind in the Romanian market. The initiative strengthened customer retention, increased brand engagement, and reinforced Mega Image’s leadership in customer experience innovation.
