What success did we aim to create?
Elesen approached us to create a next generation retail concept that would challenge the outdated warehouse-style electronics stores and instead deliver a people-first, service-led experience. The goal was to boost footfall, streamline store operations, and build a memorable brand experience that increased customer satisfaction and commercial performance. Combining the legacy of the Avitela and Elktro Markt brands under a new brand umbrella.
How did we create the success?
As a specialist retail design agency, we redefined the home electronics environment using a strategic, customer-first methodology. Key elements included:
- People Before Product: Shifted focus from “product-first” to “people-first,” placing human interaction and convenience at the core of the design.
- Customer Journey Design: Replaced the warehouse-style stores with an intuitive, home-like environment inspired by fashion and department stores.
- Retail Marketing Strategy: Developed storytelling zones aligned with real-life usage scenarios, making products easier to understand and compare.
- Smart Densification: Reduced the footprint while increasing the commercial offer, enhancing ROI and space efficiency – while never compromising the experience.
- Empowered Staff: Local service stations are located where the product is, reducing customer effort and creating seamless interactions.
We worked closely with L&Co (https://landco.studio/), the creators of the new brand identity to bring it to life in retail.
This future-focused concept launched at Panorama Shopping Centre in Vilnius, Lithuania, and is set to roll-out across the country.
