Working with Public, the leading Greek technology and culture retailer, we answered their challenge to expand their product portfolio to cover every part of their customers lives.
Public is the leading omnichannel retailer in Greece and Cyprus, with over 65 retail and online stores and sales over €500 ml. Public operates under two brands, Public & MediaMarkt, combining the best in tech, culture, home appliances and services.
Our task was to give Public retail concept uplift and integrate the brands MediaMarkt stores under Public brand umbrella. The extensive ‘home’ product ranges of MediaMarkt were to become a part of Public core offer. The upgraded stores needed to appeal to both, existing Public and MediaMarkt customers.
The new concept is footed on the key concept principles; ‘customer first’ thinking, redefined ‘product strategy’, subtly guided ‘customer journey’ and ‘experience’ that gives a reason to visit.
Public +home evolving into a case study for Greek retail. Upgraded shopping experience success is reflected in the Group’s financial results, doubling its operating profits in 2022 and increasing sales by 21% in 2023.
