What success did we aim to create?
We were briefed to develop a distinct yet connected brand identity for Beckworth Emporium’s new garden furniture showroom. The goal was to create a compelling sub-brand that would enhance store design outcomes, support a targeted retail marketing strategy, and drive increased footfall during the outdoor season.

- Brand Naming: We named the space Outdoor Living at Beckworth Emporium to resonate with the lifestyle aspirations of customers seeking to enhance their garden experiences.
- Visual Identity Design: We crafted a bold, clean identity that retained key elements of the parent brand’s DNA while establishing a unique presence for the new retail category.
- Retail Marketing Collateral: We developed all customer-facing materials, including in-store signage, point-of-sale elements, and online marketing assets.
- Customer Relevance: Messaging was aligned with post-pandemic consumer desires for quality outdoor experiences with friends and family.
- Launch Strategy: The new brand was timed for a Spring release, when interest in outdoor living peaks, maximising impact and customer uptake.
What were the results?
The Outdoor Living showroom launched successfully in Spring 2021, drawing significant customer interest and helping Beckworth Emporium meet increased demand for premium outdoor products. The new identity reinforced brand perception and positioned the space as a destination for lifestyle-driven retail. Sales in the new category exceeded seasonal expectations.
