Harman International needed a unified retail brand transformation across global office and retail spaces to reflect its updated corporate identity. The aim was to create immersive customer and staff experiences that showcased its full brand portfolio while increasing engagement, supporting sales, and delivering a premium brand experience.

As a trusted retail design agency, we delivered a suite of connected environments tailored to key Harman locations in China and the United States.

Our strategic design approach included:

  • A flagship store in Shanghai showcasing Harman brands (JBL®, AKG®, harman/kardon®, Infinity®, Mark Levinson®) in unique, interactive zones
  • A full store design outcome with multimedia features, a home theatre and sensory product displays to drive conversion
  • Showroom and lobby designs at the Northridge HQ in California, highlighting both professional and consumer segments through distinct spatial storytelling
  • A newly designed office and showroom at the Shenzhen headquarters, aligned with the US offices to reinforce a consistent global identity

All spaces were designed as tools for sales, education and brand reinforcement, supporting Harman’s retail marketing strategy and global expansion goals.

What were the results?

We delivered Harman’s first flagship retail store in China in just 10 weeks. Across all projects, the new environments became key selling tools, helping to increase footfall, support revenue growth, and align global teams with a unified vision. Harman successfully enhanced customer engagement and reaffirmed its brand leadership in critical global markets.
